Chris was principal–in–charge of the Edmonton Exhibition Lands Master Plan (160ha) a transit–oriented development site that includes the Edmonton Expo Centre, K–Days, and the Coliseum. The redevelopment plan examined the feasibility of the continued operation of the Coliseum as well as developing an entertainment district to support the activities of the Expo Centre and events that include K–Days. The mixed–use transit–oriented site envisions a series of connected public spaces including Borden Park that would provide a range of recreation and entertainment activities for visitors and residents alike. The plan provides urban design guidelines that emphasize TOD connectivity to two LRT stations.
